Treaty of Versailles
The treaty of Versailles was the conclusion of World war I. It was deemed to be an unfair and a power hungry treaty. Germany believed it was unfair and unjust to them, it forced them to pay for all the debt of the war and cut their military to 100,000 with limited reserves. This was important because it started a ticking time bomb on germany and the start of the tensions. -
USSR formation
The formation of the USSR was very significant because it showed a new government rising to power in Russia, and the formation of a communist power head. It created a scare for the whole world that communism had arose and took over so quickly and if it could spread. -

The Great depression was very important, even though it mainly effected just the United States it caused the USA to stop funding Germany which caused a large ripple in their peace and caused Germany to go into hyper inflation causing them to go to drastic measures to get out of it. -

The Munich Agreement was very important because it started the German aggression and showed how Britain and France was staying true to their appeasement policy and trying everything to prevent a war. -

This event was very important because it started the war and showed Germany was very powerful and ready for a large and long war. This also gave Germany the advantage on France because there was no longer a buffer zone between the two. -
Battle of Britain
The battle of Britain was a conflict between Britain and Nazi Germany and it was very important because it kept the Nazi's out of Britain and kept the Nazi from taking over the whole European Theater. -
Bombing of pearl harbor
Pearl Harbor was very important to the war. It caused United States of America to get involved and become very angry and ready for revenge. It caused a major shift and the defeat of Japan in the pacific and Germany in Europe. -
The battle of midway
Midway was one of the most important battles of the entire war. It was the large shift in momentum in the war and showed the United States true power. It opened up the pacific and got the allies closer to Japan and the end of the war. -
Battle of Kursk
Was a major turning point in the Eastern Front and was one of the largest wars in human history. It was a battle between the Soviets and Germans and the Soviets came out with the victory and started the German retreat and loss of power. -
D-Day Invasion
Was one of the bloodiest battles in Human history. Was a massive offensive of the allies to take back France. They allies stormed the beaches of Normandy and pushed inwards through France. Was a major victory for the allies and put the Germans on their heels. -
Liberation of Paris
Was the start of the end of the war. The allies took back Paris and most of France and started pushing to meet the Soviets. The Germans were now officially In full retreat and surrendering and giving up on all hope. -
Battle of the Bulge
The last German offensive of the War. was fought in the middle of the winter and there were lots of casualties due to the cold and blizzard weather. The Germans are defeated and and 4 months later officially surrender. -
Liberation of the concentration camps
The liberation of the concentration camps was a very strong and important event to happen. It showed the end of the war was near and Germany was falling and losing power, but it also showed hope to the Millions of Jewish people that had been enslaved there and showed them that they are free and never to give up hope. -
Atomic Bomb drop on Hiroshima
Was the last offensive of the War. Germany had already surrendered and given up and the last hold out was Japan, The United States determined that a land invasion would have Millions of deaths and causalities so they decided to test and drop the new Atomic Bomb they had created. This changed warfare forever and completely destroyed the City of Hiroshima.
