Adolf Hitler was an army veteran that was so extremely frustrated by Germany's defeat that he put his rage into action. Later on he joined an organization called the Germans Workers' that rooted for German nationalism and anti -Semitism, who all shared hatred for the unjust that Germany was burdened by the result of the civil war. Soon after he gained public favoritism by way of presenting speeches that blamed all of Germany's problems on the Jews and Marxists. He promoted severe nationalism.

"Hitler and his followers staged the Beer Hall Putsch in Munich" There they were trying to takeover the government in Bavaria. (a state in southern Germany) Hitler had hoped it would begin a larger revolution against the national government. He was sent to prison for five years for treason but got out in under a year. In that time he wrote his political autobiography "My Struggle". this turned him into a national figure. after release from prison he decided to gain power through elections.

In 1929, Germany was steeped in economic depression and widespread unemployment.The Nazis began to win elections by criticizing the current government.In July 1932, they had 230 of 608 seats of the German parliament.January 1933, Hitler was appointed chancellor and soon after his Nazi party came to control every aspect of German life.

With the Nazis in power all other political parties were banned, the nazis opened their first concentration camp in Dachau, Germany to holed up political prisoners in 1933. It then turned into a death camp. He then was starting to gain back Germany's land from the treaty of Versailles claiming it denied them living space for their growing populous.

In 1934, he demanded equality of arms with France and Britain. He broke the treaty by secretly building up his army. In 1935 he held a rearmament rally, other nations let him get away with it and Britain even made a naval agreement with them. a little after 1936, he was buying more and more weapons and steadily building up his army. By 1939 Germany had 95 warships, 8,250 airplanes and an army of 1 m. men.

The Japanese and China had clashed and Japan had, from the Secretary of State, Hull, to a policy of self restraint. Secretary continued to try and convey to Japan that the consequences of war were grave fro both the victor and the slain and that Japan could afford to be the bigger person.
Japan attacked China in 1937 for the sake of containing communism. China didn't give much credence to their reasoning for the invasion. Japan attacked the (GMD) the anti- communist which was a grave mistake. -

Blitzkrieg is also known as the Lightning War. At the beginning of WWII after two had passed Germany had already quickly took control over most of Europe by using a new type of military tactic called the Blitzkrieg. Though this tactic is quick and fast it requires the concentration of offensive powers - such as tanks, planes etc....
Although this lightning tactic led to great power it soon came to an end by the Soviet Union and Germany ended up in a long war and eventually lost. -
After Hitler invaded and dismembered Czechoslovakia Great Powers such as Britain and France basically appeased Hitler by ignoring what he did and promised to protect Poland. He sneakily invaded Poland by breaking no rules but making the nonaggression pact with the Soviet Union. Acquiring this pact allowed the Germans to attack Poland without the worry of the Soviet Union intervening. The Germans invaded Poland September 1, 1939 Poland forces were defeated within weeks of the invasion.

This event tells upon evacuation by civilians and soldiers alike that seemed nearly impossible. Both British and French soldiers were there in that coastal town of Dunkirk where they were being continuously bombed and shelled by the Germans. From all this commotion sources said the sun was nearly obscured.

The Atlantic wall was penetrated by France but now they had to fight against Germany and the cruel weather. The main point of this fight was to make a bridgehead from which allies could breakout and liberate France.

Several months later after Germany surrendered Japan also surrendered effectively and finally bringing WWII to a close on August 14th 1945. Then a few months later on September 2nd 1945 Japan formally surrendered aboard the U.S.S. Missouri anchored in Tokyo Bay and finally putting six long years of hostilities to an anticipated end.
