After the end of WWI, the Treaty of Versailles is signed. The Treaty gave military and economic punishment to the Central Powers.

This was a pact between Germany and USSR. Stalin and Hitler had similar profiles and a totalitarian regime.

Germany invaded Poland. The Allies declare war to Germany.
This is the start of the war.

Is the largest invasion in World History, about 4 million Axis´ soldiers were moved to Russia.

Pearl Harbor

The Japanesse navy attack the military base of Pearl Harbor Hawaii without having a declaration of war.
The consequence was: The US declare war to the Axis.

D-Day

Jun 6, 1944

France was under the power of the Axis. The invasion of Normandy (D-Day) had the objective to set free France.
The Allies won.

Mass rape in Berlin

May 1, 1945

The Russians after winning the Stalingrad Battle they moved to the west.
They entered to Berlin and rape 100,000 women, in total they were about 2 million women were raped by the Red Army.
This is the greatest mass rape in World History.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki

Aug 6, 1945

After the surrender of Germany the Allies only focus on Japan.
To end the war, the Allies decided to send an atomic bomb to Hiroshima and after to Nagasaki.
This will be the first time an atomic bomb is used at war.
