France where Germany got control of the west and the north. However, France was still under the control of the " axis". Allowing Germany to completely invade.

    The Battle of Britain was waged during the summer of 1940 after France had finally succumbed to the advancing German forces and only Great Britain stood in Hitler's path. The battle for air supremacy played out in the skies with RAF pilots outnumbered some which caused a conflict. The treaty of Versailles did not allow the Germans to have an air force. The Soviet Union helped the Germans to keep a secret and train air force pilots on combat planes.

There was a high number of Civilian casualties, and people started calling it a " war crime". There were RAF who had dropped heavy bombs all over Dresden.

American military leaders planned an attack but the Japanese were suffering due to running low on supplies and food.     They have believed that the savings for the fuel could make the bombers carry more and make more damage than they did before.Tokyo started to burn and the civil defense authorities did their best to help reduce the issue, but at least every few minutes there was a new bomber that arrived, in a new part of the city with a heavier load of bombs.
