    Hitler's book "My Struggle" was a best selling novel at the time and helped to solidify his name in theh earts and minds of the German public. The book helped to stir up Anti-Semitic movements based on the belief that many problems the coutnry faced were the result of Jewish influence.

    The Stock Market Crash resulted in international job less and bankruptcy. Many countries suffered economically which caused many people to go hungry and become angry at their current government. This emnity allowed the Nazi party to stir up Anti-Semitic movements by blaming the Jews for the current economic problems. Which solidifed Hitler's power and allowed him to be an integral part in WW II.

    The Great Depression was the period of time after the great crash in which many countries suffered economically. The Great Depression caused many people to go hungry and become angry towards their governments. This allowed the Nazi party and Hitler to seize power and influence in Germany by adressing the problem by claiming that the Jews were the source of all of their woes.

    The Japanese Invasion of Manchuria resulted in Japanese domination of southern Manchuria. The invasion resulted in heavy Chinese casualties that ultiamtely resulted in political backlash towards Japan. Many within Japan felt that although they had been provoked that they had gone too far and as a result created a split political front during WW II.

    When Hitler was named chancellor it was the beginning of the end for Germany. His position allowed him to seize absolute authority over the government and declare war on other countries almost completely unopposed.

    The enabling act legally allowed Hitler to become a dictator of Germany. This freedom of power allowed Hitler to declare war on neighboring European Countries without internal interference.

    The Nuremberg Laws deprived Jews of citizenship and the ability to marry Germans. These laws created a society within Germany that regarded Jews as less than human. These denials of their rights allowed The Nazi party to comit terrible acts upon the Jews during WW II.

    The Ethiopian War was fought between Italy and Ethiopia with Italy quickly winning. This war helped to solidify Mussolini's popularity as a dictator which granted him more popular support during his actions in WW II in Italy.

    The german remilitarization of the Rhineland placed German forces close to France which allowed easy access to France during WW II. France's lack of action agaisnt this remilitarization resulted in German dominance over France during the war.

    Appeasement

    To avoid war Neville Chamberlain granted Germany the Sudetenland. Unfortuantely this did not placate Germany and only served to solidify their viewpoint that the rest of Europe was afraid of their power.

    Rape of Nanjing
    Mass murder in the city of Nanjing, China. This brutal act solidified Japan's dominance over east Asia and proved that they were a force to be reckoned with. This later led to their invitation to the Rome-Berlin Axis between Germany and Italy and their involvement in WW II as allies of Germany.

    The political union between Germany and Austria. This union resulted in the annexation of Austria and eventual dominance by the Nazi party.

    Munich Conference
    The Munich Conference is where Germany was granted complete control of the Sudetenland over the Czechoslovakian government. This conference proved that Europe wanted to avoid a war with Germany at all costs.

    Japanese expansion resulted in increased military power and influence of Japan. This led to their inclusion in the Rome-Berlin Axis where they became allies of Germany during WW II. Which in turn led them to bomb Pearl Harbor and their eventual surrender to the United States.
