Japan attacked Manchuria because Japan had very limited land space. Japan also thought that the chinese were lower forms of the Japanese. -

From 1937 to 1953, Franco was determined to be in control of Spain. It took him about 16 years to finally gain control. He went from a general to a ruler. The church recognized Franco's power and granted him the privilage to rule Spain. -
