    The dropping of the Atomic bombs destroyed Japan and finalized the end of the Pacific Theater in the near future. The first bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945 and the second, three days later on the 9th was dropped on Nagasaki. These bombings led to the conclusion of the war that officially happened on September 2, 1945 or commonly known as VJ Day. (Victory in Japan).
