The Sudeten Party push for a union with Hitler's Germany. Czechoslovakia refuses and Hitler summons Britain, French and Italian representatives to Munich. Britain suggest they have a valid claim and they all sign a pact of appeasement -

Germany and Russia sign the German - Soviet Non - Aggression pact which gurantees Hitler access to Polandwithout fear of reprisal by the powerfulSoviet army. Britain had promised to protect Poland if it were ever attacked. -
War is declared
England declares war on Germany. Democratic France also declares war. And a few hours later Australia follows suit.
