    Germany invaded Poland in the year of 1939. Hitler and his army were furious about the Treaty of Versailles and wanted revenge. This country needed more land so they could have a reason to fight for more freedom.

    Blitzkrieg is a method of warfare where an area is being attacked. Germany took over many countries with it's rage for freedom and power. Many new warfare strategies occurred during the German Blitzkrieg.

    Pearl Harbor
    Pearl Harbor occurred on December 7th, 1941 in Hawaii. Japan was furious that they weren't getting any rights from the Treaty of Versailles. Japan planned this bombing for over a year and it had a big impact in America and in World War 2.

    The Battle of Okinawa was the last major battle of World War 2. This battle was the Americans against the Japanese. This gave America an advantage on the World War.

    V-E Day was the day that America had finally got the victory in Europe. It was the day the America beat the Nazi's and could finally have them be an ignored country.

    The Potsdam Declaration was the finale to World War 2. This treaty meant Japan had surrendered and was beaten by America. This left American winning World War 2.

    America was done with Japan and the World War. The only way they would let up would be by dropping an atomic bomb. America wanted the War to be over.

    America had finally beaten Japan to win the World War. This War took a very long time and was hard on the soldiers. But the day had finally come.
