    Japan invaded Manchuria and it ended with a "dramatic walk-out" of representitives in Japan. It happened in Japan's hope to gain more natural resourses. The attack later led to the attack on pearl harbor.

    In January 1933 Hitler was offered the job of vice chancellor but refused and demanded to be chancellor. Hindenburg and Papen agreed in an attept to get natzis on their side. Workers turned to communism but weathly buissness men were frightened by this so they turned to finance hitler. In the end America's stock market collapsed sending it and the rest of the world into a global depression.

The meeting ended in Sudetenland being handed over to Germany.

    The world was shocked when former enemies Germany and the Soviet Union signed a non-aggression pact, promising to not take any millitary action against one another for a decade. This enabled Germany to take Poland without Soviet interfereance. This also took the stress away from fighting a two front war. In a secret part of the pact Hitler and Stalin split Poland between them.

He suggested to attack when they least expected it, they would rely mostly on their blitzkreg plan from their sucessful attack on Poland. Their plan overwhelmed France, France fell in a matter of 6 weeks

    British Expenditionary Force and French troops were stranded on Dunkirk beaches and were in desprate need of recuing. The rescue plan was launched immeditally. The plan was announced and not long after everyone was willing to help out, but at the cost of using their personaly owned boats. In this time more than 330,000 troops were rescued

    The battle of France had ended and now the battle of britain would soon be underway. The German airforce Luftwaffe was vital for the Briatian invasion. Hitler emphazised that the Luftwaffe must be "beaten down" The luftwaffe attacked British airfeilds and radar bases and later bombed cities themselfes to breakdown morale. Britain did not give in easy and forced German troops back, Hitler then turned his attention to invading the Soviet Union

    This marked the first modern air-naval battle. There was no fire between ships, rather there were planes launched off of the ships. The planes did the fighting in this battle. The japanese wonbut not without cost. The japanese had to cancel its expedition of Port Moresby, Papua, as well as other South Pacific targets.

This drastically turned the tides for the Allies and the Soviet union would remain on offence

    This was the first invasion the U.S. and British planned together, they would move through French North Africa and work their way up through Italy then into france. Although Stalin advised otherwise he felt the puressure Germany was bringing and wanted the Allies on them as soon as possible.     The Allies put together a massive force to breach through into France and later Germany. 5,000 ships, 11,000 aircrafts, and over 150,000 troops participated in this historic invasion. 10,000 men went down and 4,000 were killed but yet the invasion succeeded due to its sheer number and willpower. the element of suprise didnt hurt eaither. Germany knew there was an invasion coming they just didnt know when or where. The allies had set up dummy armies to fool the Germans.

This battle consisted of 287,000 American soilders against 130,000 Japanese troops.The Japanese did not give up easily, as air bases vital to the projected invasion of Japan were at stake. This battle would see the likes of kamakizes or suicide pilots. There would be massive bloodshed, but in the end the U.S. prevailed in the last big battle of the Pacific campaign

This was the first of two deadly blows for Japan
