The Invasion of Manchuria was when the Soviet Union attacked Japan. It was done so that the Japanese would surrender. It was important because it got the Japanese to surrender. It also got their population to decrease because of all the attacking. -

The Rape Nanking was when the Japanese took over China. They started to kill people and take pictures with their dead bodies. It was important because the U.S. knew but did not say anything about it because they wanted to keep Japan as their Allie. -

The Anschluss was a treaty between Austria and Germany. It also made Austria put German troops in Austria and Schuschnigg. It is important because it made Germany and Austria Allies. When Austria and Germany became Allies they could help eachother if they were getting attacked. -

The Kristallnacht was when the Nazi's burned and destroyed all the Jews homes. The Nazi's did not like the Jews and so they decided to attack and destroyed everything they owned. It's important because lots of Jews lost their homes and belongings and some even died because they were not wanted. -

The Munich Pact was an agreement to turn away the outbreak of war. Czechoslovakia was given away to Germany when the agreement was signed. It was important because Germany got control of Czechoslovakia. It also had to become a place were they supported the German's. -
Non-Aggression Pact
The Non-Aggression Pact was an agreement that the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany signed. The agreement did not let the Soviet Union attack Germany. It is important because after they signed the agreement Germany started to take control of other countries and then go back to the Soviet Union to take over. -

The Invasion of Poland happened at 4:45 am when Germany sent 1.5 million troops to Poland to take control. Germany said it was only for defense but Britain did not believe in Germany. it was important because it led to WW11 starting when Britain and France declared war on Germany. -

The Evacuation of Dunkirk was an evacuation that was placed to the Allies because Germany was getting close to them. They were sent to England. It important because it made all the Allies move to England inoder to get away from Germany attacking. -

The Lend-Lease Act was a law providing aid for the U.S. military. They sent aid to the U.S. troops that were in foreign countries. It was important because it helps troops that were in need of medical help. They also allowed resouces to travel to Britian without any problems. -

The Operation Barbarossa was an invasion Hitler planned to invaded the Soviet Union. Hitler sent more than 3 million German soldiers to go get control of the Soviet Union. it was important because it had made Germany fight a two-front war. It also had the Allies helping the Soviet Union with fighting Germany. -
Pearl Harbor
Pearl Harbor was the U.S. naval base near Hawaii. it was bombed by Japanese forces trying to destroy or damage the naval base. It was important because it got the U.S. mad at Japan. Later that day the president declared war on Japan. -
Battle of Midway
The Battle of Midway was when the U.S. was able to destroy Japan's last remaining aircraft before they could attack. It also causes a permanent damage on Japan's aircraft. It was important because Japan could not use their aircrafts to attack any more. It also made it impossible for the Japanese to attck from the air. -
D-Day Invasion
The D-Day was the liberation of Western Europe from Nazi Control. 156,000 Americans, Britians, and Canadians were all sent to fight for the liberation. The D-Day invasion was important because it caused the Allies to help get Europe out of Nazi Germany's control. -
Liberation of Paris
Paris was taken over by Nazi Germany. General Charles de Gaulle led the liberation and they also signed a treaty with Germany. The liberation of Paris was important because all the Allies started to attack German forces. It also led to them starting to fight in WW11. -

The Battle of The Bulge was started by Hitler trying to slip the Allies in Northwest Europe. The Allies kept the fight in battles to keep Germany from taking over. It was important because it led to WW11 starting. Germany also got put in it place when they couldn't take over. -
Hitler's Death
Hitler kills himself with a gun in an underground bunker. He takes a pistol aims it to his head and shots himself and also took a cyanide capsule. His death was important because it makes Germany surrender to the Allies. It also ended Hitler's dream to keep Germany 1,000 years of being rich. -

The Surrender of Germany was when Germany stopped fighting in the war. It also ended the European phase of the war. It was important because of all the countries that were under Germany's control got released. It also made war coming to an end faster because their was no more Germany. -
Hiroshima/Nagasaki
Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed during WW11 by the first atomic bomb. It killed 80,000 people and 1,000 more people died because of radiation exposure. It was important because it made Japan surrender from WW11 because of all the deaths. They also did not have many soldiers to keep fighting.
