    1st Saturday Surprise by Germany
    On a weekend when British prime ministers retreated to their homes in the country, Hitler ordered his army to rebuild the air force, reinstating the army's draft, and rearming the people of Germany, all of which was disobeying the Treaty of Versailles. He assured Europe that it was in means of defense and Europe should not feel threatened.
  • Germany and Italy allied together

    Germany and Italy allied together
    Germanys Fuhrer Adolph Hitler and the dictator of Italy Benito Mussolini ally both Germany and Italy. Since they both have similar views on the world, and both want to conquer more land for their countrys. Mussolini in the south-east of Europe and down into North Africa, and Hitler into the north-east of Europe. It is a very easy decision for both of them.
  • Czechoslovakia threatened by Germany

    After Germany absorbed Austria, Germany looked to conquering Czechoslovakia. German troops were put at the border of Germany and Czechoslovakia. Also many German speaking Czechoslovakians were paid to protest agaisnt the Czechoslovakian governemnt and demand that they want to be a part of the Reich.

    By 1939 all of Czechoslovakia was taken by Hitler. Both the British and French leaders were all stunned and promised to protect Poland in the case of an attack. Hitler promised it would be the last land he took.

    After the SS claiming that Polish officers executed German prisoners, German troops marched into Poland. Germany claimed to be retaliating for the Polish "attack on Gleiwitz".

    After the Germans took control of Poland, all Polish people had to realize that they are under German rule. They are not allowed to say "hail Hitler" also they must tip there cap to any German officer or man of importance. Additionnaly any German in Poland gets to cut lines of stores. Any Polish man that the government saw as too educated would be subject to arbitrary arrest.

    By the end of 1939 every Jew was required to wear a yellow star, They had a curfew of leaving the streets at 9:00 PM and could go back out at 5:00 AM. If any Jew did not abid by these laws they could spend 10 years in prison.
  • Nazi Europe

    By June 22, 1940 Germany controlled all of Western Europe including Czechoslovakia, Austria, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and finally France. Germany had everywhere except for Great Britain, were at the time all of Europes leaders were headed to prepare for the day that there country was free again.
  • Russian invasion

    On June 22 Hitler ordered the invasion of Russia. Hitler wanted to destroy the Jewish-Bolshevik menance.
  • Germany declares war on the U.S.

    One day after the Pearl Harbor attacks on the U.S., the U.S. declared war on Japan. Sincer Japan and Germany had an alliance the Japanese ambassador to Germany asked Hitler if he would support the war against the U.S. On december 11 1941 Germany officially declared war on the U.S.
