Treaty of versails
The treaty of versails ended world war 1. Lloyd George of England, Orlando of Italy, Clemenceau of France and Woodrow Wilson form the US came togather and decided Germanys punichments. Here are some of the punishments. Germany had to take the blame for starting the war. Germany had to pay 6.6 million dollars in war damages. Germany could only have a small army with six naval ships and no tanks or airforce. Land was taken away from Germany. -
Nazi Party
Adolf Hitler becomes the leader of the NAZI party. This party believed that the arian blood needed to stay "pure". They believed that anybody diffrent from them should be killed. They are responsiable for the death of jews and many other ethnic groups. -
Japan
The Japenes attacked a section of China named Manchuria. In years to come Japan, Germany, and Italy become allies in world war 2. -
Adolf Hitler
Adolf Hitler became chancellor of Germany. Secritly he immedeatly started to build up there army and weapons. -
The start of somrthing bad
In 1934 Hitler increased his army and started to build warships. He created an airforce. Even though France and Britian new about this they were worried about communism spreading west. -
Rhienland
Adolf Hitler orderd troops into the Rhienland witch was not aloud according to the Treaty of Versails. The German army was not very strong yet so France and Britian could have been able to defeat them but they did not want to start another war. -
Alliances arise
In 1936 Germany made some key alliances. The first alliance was with Italy and it was called the Rome-Berlin Axis pact whitch united Adolf Hitlers germany with Mussolinis italy. The second alliance was with Japan. This was called the Anti-Comintern pact wich united Gernmany With Japan. -
Getting what was theres
In 1938 german troops entered Austria. Hitler decided that they would take back the land they lost do to the Treaty of Versials. The austrian leader was forced to have a vote to see if the austrian people wanted to join germany. -
Jewish
The germans start putting Jewish people in consintration camps. -
The Beginning
The Germans invade Poland. This is when Britian and France enters the war! -
Invasion
Germaney invades Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Belgium and takes control of them. -
Britian stands
In the battle of Britian the city of London was destroyed. This battle was fought in the air. The britian air force stood strong and won. -
Stab in the back
The Germans break there pact with Russia. This is when Russia joined the allies against Germany. -
Blind Sided
Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in an air assault. Many Americans were killed in the attack. This is when the US declared war on Japan. -
Midway
This battle changed who contrlled the pacific. The US attacked Japan carierrs. The US know Controlled the sea and ski. -
Stalingrad
This battle was fought because it was on a river. This battle could have changed the war if Germany would have one. -
Africa
This is one of the first battles US fought in. Britian and the US defeated German and Italian forces. -
D-day
On this day US Canada and Britian forces attacked beaches of France. Many Americans died on this day. They where sucessful of taking the beaches. -
The buldge
The battle of the buldge was the last offensive of the german forces. This battle took place in the ardene forest. The 101st airborne division was surrounded trying to take a town contolling roads. Pattons armored division broke through the lines and rescued them. -
Victory
V-E stands for Victory in Europe. this is the day when the germans surrendor. -
Atomic bomb
The US unleashead there new weapon on Japan. The atomic bomb destryed cities in a second. The US dropped this weapon on Hiroshima and Okisaki. -
The end
This is the final end of world war 2.
