Japan believing they should be equal to Western powers japan went for manchuria taking control japans armies then over ran easten china starting the second sino-japanese war and western test did not stop japan. This is very important during th etime after WWI. This shows a buildup of tension between the countries. This Tension will soon lead up to an all out war. -

Mussolini taking actions in his own hand for imerialist ambitions led to italys defeat by the Ethiopians, The Ethiopian king ppealed to the league of nations later led to the league to vote sanctions later italy had conquered Ethiopia This event is important because like others it shows tensions building between the European countries. Italy, one of the main Axis countries is now showing their hostile motives and the tensions for war are building. -
British and French gave Sudetenland to Germany
The British and French not wanting to be part of Germany plans again chose appeasement and given sudetenland to Germany at the Munich Conferece as Hitler says he no more plans for Territorial Expansion This is important because it showed that Hitler was someone you can not make a deal with. Even after the British and French gave Sudetenland Hitler still wanted more. Again, another build up for an all out war. -

Hitler makes a nonagression pact with a enemey of his joseph stalin, although this was not a pact of friendship jjust mutual needs in order for parts of land in poland and europe. Stalin, being the dictator of a fairly powerful country was the ideal person to ally with. To Hitler, because of their mutual needs, allying together was a must. The alliance of Hitler and Stalin was a serious threat. -

as Germany gains ground in Norway and Denmark they were no match for their blitzkrieg quickly taking over marking the signifigance of Hitlers army This is another example of the nazis power. They are able to go country to country and most of the time not have much trouble in conjuering land. -

As the big 3 focus in europe long distance only made them distrust one another but the had to come together for the war although stallin wanted the west to help relive pressure off the sovient union and they answered with not having enough resourrces at the time stallin thought it was an effor to weaken the soviet. at the Battle of the Coral Sea battle lasting for 5 days the naval ships never saw each other but by the planes launched from aircraft carriers America sinked many japanese destroyers and stopped them from getting islands This was a huge win for the USA. The japanese had a really powerful military so being able to get a big win like this was a huge morale boost and it showed that they were on the way to win the war. -

this day was when germany had surrendered and after 12 years finally the war was over as germany underestimated the opposing forces causing his downfall This marked the official end of the war in Europe. It is important because after Germany fell the war was over. This is because Germany was the last main axis power in Europe still standing. -
