Germany invades Poland
1, 300 German aircrafts invaded Poland. Britain and France declared war on Germany because Poland requested military assitance from there. German army groups invaded Poland from Slovakia in the south and Prussia in the north. German air force had advanced aircrafts than the Poles so they established an air supremacy by attacking/destroying the Polish Air Force. This gave way for the Germans to attack road and rail junctions and concentrations of Polish troops. Towns and villages were bombed. -
