    During the Sino-Japanese war Nanjing gets conquered by Japanese forces.In order to demoralize the Chinese General Matsui Iwane ordered the destruction of the city. The Japanese killed 150000 war prisoners, Killed 50000 Chinese males and raped 20000 women.

    The Japanese captured approximately 350,000 prisoners of war during World war 2. The death rate among these prisoners was 27%. Allied prisoners death rate was 4% in comparison. Japan forced its prisoners to work as slave Laborers. The prisoners were tortured using rats, knives, and fists. Some were beheaded while others were cut to peaces.   • Wannsee Conference

    The Wannsee Conference, held on January 20, 1942 was called to decide the "Final Solution to the Jewish Problem". As a result, a network of extermination camps was established. In these camps 1.7 Million Jews were murdered.

This Battle is one of the largest and longest engagements in History. German forces make advancements at the begging, but then Russia season changed to winter and German soldiers suffered.
