The German Workers Party was formed by Anton Drexler. It was mainly focussed on looking at peace and the racism towards the Jews, and Nationalism. -
German Workers' Party dissolved
The German Workers' Party was issolved almost a year later. It was renamed the NSDAP(National Socialist German Workers' Party). This name however was a loan from a different Austrian party. -
Formation of Nazi Party
Adolf gained full reign over the newly formed, Nazi Party. Hitler was appointed the Chancellor of Germany and had established a totalitarian regime. This regime would later be known as the Third Reich. -
Beer Hall Putsch
The Beer Hall Putsch was an event where Adolf Hitler and other leaders of the Nazi Party attempted to take control of Munich, Bavaria and failed. This attempt lasted throughtout the 8th-9th. It is was said that 2,000 men had marched to the center or Munich and out of those 2,000 men, 16 Nazis and 4 policeman were killed, -
Germany's Recovery
Between 1924 and 1928, Germany had recovered its economy and as a countyr itself. Inflations stopped, the French occupation ended, Germany joined the League of Nations, & reparations are re-negotiated. -
Growth of Nazi Party
On 1928, the Nazi Party had acquired a growth in political power. The Nazi Party had gained 13 seats in parliament. This however, does not end it. In just four years, the amount of seats rose vastly. -
Wall Street Crash
The crash of the Stock Market was really the beginning of the Great Depression, which lasted 10 years. This Great Depression affected the Western Industrialized countries greatly. The Roaring Twenties was what followed after the first World War. It was full of wealth and glut. This contributed to the cause of the crash. -
Seizure of Power
On 1932, the Nazi Party had gained 230 seats in parliament. This granted more political power to the party. When that happened, the Nazi Party had became the largest single party in Germany. This was also around the time in which Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany after the elections. -
Nazi Re-armament
Hitler reinstates the conscription of the Aryan Germans. Germany had begun to build airbases, create more weapons, warships, and made 30,000 troops. No other countries made any attempt to stop them. The British did not take any action, and the French would not act without the British. -
Expansion of Germany's Air Force
Germany's air force had expnded 3 times the size of Great Britains in 1936. On March 7, Germany had made a re-militarization of the Rhineland with 30,000 troops. This was in violation of the Treaty of Versailles and the Locarno Treaties. -
Annexing of Austria+Munich Conferance
Hitler's influence had reached far and wide. It had even reached the borders of Austria. Many Austrians were in favor of Hitler's power. There were many Germans and Austrians, nazi nor not, that were in favor and the annexation. The Chancellor of Austria had no choice but to allow the annexation in the end due to the pressure the people were applying. -
Invasion of Poland/Beginning of WW2
Germany, the Soviet Union, and a small part of Slovak had invaded Poland. Poland had been preparing a defensive war against the invasion of Germany for many years. However, their defense was not put into place until 1942.
