Hitler Invades Poland
Hitler was seeking to gain control of every country. Once he invaded Poland, France and Britain had had enough. They declared war on Germany, starting World War 2. People should be happy with what they have. The World War 2 would have never started if Hitler would have just been content with power over Germany alone. I do not agree with the selfish decisions made during this time. -
Hitler Gains Control of Western Europe
After Hitler gained control over Western Europe, Britain and France didn't agree with Hitler's decisions. Hitler wanted all Jews to be diminished. France and Britain wanted to team up with the Soviet Union and declare war on Germany. However, the Soviet's had a secret agreement never to fight Germany. This time was very devastating because all Hitler wanted was power over people. The behavior from both the Nazis and Hitler was dreadful. Also, they took over so many countries. -
Germany Invades the Soviet Union
Hitler decided to attack the Soviet Union, turning on his own ally, but realized he made a mistake. The lack of supplies and cold Russian weather caused Germany to retreat for the first time. The Soviet Union Army had defeated. Germany attacked Soviet's even though they agreed not to. Hitler was horrible and shouldn't of went behind anothers back. They deserved to loose against the Soviet's. -
Japan Attacks Pearl Harbor
Japan saw the United States as a possible enemy, so decided to have a surprise air attack on the Pearl Harbor. The attack resulted in damaged US battleships and killed more that 2,300 American Soldiers. The United States knew they had to get into the war themselves. The next day Roosevelt declared war on Japan. It wasn't United State's intention to get into the war. But after the greedy move made by Japan, they had to. -
Allies Invade Europe on D-day
All of the allies came together to attack. By September, they were on the borders of Germany, The invasion resulted in a great success leaving Germany a broken country. Soon after, Hitler killed himself. I'm glad that everyone teamed up against Germany. I feel bad for the innocent citizens who were forced to follow Hitler. Overall, Hitler was a bad man and needed to be stopped eventually. -
US Drops an Atomic Bomb on Japan
The United States decides to get back at Japan, and drops one of the most powerful weapons the world had seen. This atomic bomb left the city and surrounding area in ashes. Around 200,000 people dies, and the rest injured. Japan soon surrendered. The United States made the right decision when dropping a bomb on Japan. At first, US didn't want to get involved in the war. But after Japan abrupty bombed the Pearl Harbor, we needed to get them back.
