    In war soldiers were mostly fed tin canned foods. Those foods would consists of canned corn beef, canned vegetables, bread that was made with dry ground turnips, and plum and apple jelly those were the main things that a soldier would eat.

    The trenches served as a place for protection for soldiers to go. Life in the trenches was very difficult because of the diseases that were traveling throughout them. Another reason why it was very difficult is because they could collapse at any time and on rainy days they would flood making it very hard to stay in there.

I am not completely sure the true reasons to why they did this but if I had to guess I would say they did this because they were all missing there family's because they have been gone so long. I also think they did this because of religion and how Christmas is a day of peace and a day to be united .

    Chemical gas was very popular as a weapon in WW1 it was a gas that traveled from Germany to the other trenches. The gas looked like fog and would be deadly to anyone near it without a gas mask on.

    The U.S. joined WWI on April 4th, 1917. They Joined because Germany lied saying they were not going to use submarines and had an agreement but on May 7th, 1915 Germany used a submarine to Sink the RMS Lusitania. After the U.S. found out about this they were furious and they decided to join the war.

    As the war progressed many of the nations knew they couldn't win. They all decided to end the war with the date of the eleventh month of the eleventh day and the eleventh hour. The soldiers spent the final minutes left of the war in bloodshed. Until the eleventh hour hit and shots stopped firing.

    Although World War One was over there were still many conflicts in other nations which led to wars and revolutions happening everywhere. There were at least 11 more wars after WWI.
