    On june 28,1914 a teenage siberian revolutionary shot and killed Archduke Ferdinand.There was multiple attempts but they all failed except for the siberian revolutionary who was believed to be affiliated with the siberian nationalist society black hand,which has ties with the siberian government that is dedicated to uniting bosnia and serbia.     On May 7, 1915 the lusitania was sunk by a German u-boat and this was one of the reasons America joined world war 1. Germany knew that America had mutations onboard.There was a total of 1,959 passengers on the lusitania only 761 people lived,1,198 drowned and 128 us soldiers died on the lusitania.     In 1914 president woodrow wilson claimed that the united states was neutral in the war until the germans sunk the lusitania in 1915 almost 2,000 people died including 128 americans.Also with the zimmerman telegram,that germany and mexico was planning on attacking the U.S. And president wilson asked congress to declare war against germany and the U.S officially joined world war one on april 6,1917(National WWI Museum and Memorial, 2023).

    Russia withdrew because of many reasons,one of the reasons is they were confused and there was many military fails and economic struggles.Russia suffered many losses on the eastern front and was plagued by desertion and low morale.And because russia had many economic problems they were running out of food and munition so they had to withdraw from the war.     The zimmermann note was sent january 16,1972,by Arthur Zimmermann to the german minister in mexico.The note was a plan to renew unrestricted submarine warfare and to form an alliance with mexico and japan if the united state was gonna go to war with germany.The message was intercepted by the british and was sent to the united states and this caused the U.S. entry into world war 1(The Editors of Encyclopedia Britannica, 2023).
