Because of the sinking of "Lusitania", a man named Kaiser Wihelm suspends unrestricted welfare. This is an attempt to keep America out of the war. But it also prevents German efforts to keep supplies away from France and Britain. -

Germany continues to use unrestricted submarine warfare in European waterways. Because of this, the United States in drawn into war which causes the defeat of Germany. -
Zimmerman Telegram
A man named Authur Zimmermann proposes that Mexico should side with Germany in case of war between the United States and Germany. In return, Germany promises to return to Mexico the "Lost Provinces". Mexico declines, and in return, the Western Hemisphere has an outrage about Germany's offer andn pushes America to support entering the war. -
Wilson for War
President Woodrow Wilson asked congress to declare war against Germany. He said "The world must be safe dor democracy". A few days later, congress voted for war decloration. -
The United States enters war
Congress authorizes a declaration of war against Germany. America joins War World 1 on the side of France and Britain. -
Selective Service Act
The Selective Service Act enabled President Woodrow Wilson the power of drafting Soldiers into the war. Boys under the age of 19 would illegally join the war to help the soldiers. -
Germany and Russia Peace
The Germans decide to sign a peace treaty with the new government of Russia. This results in Germany gaining lots of land that had been Ukraine and Poland and peace on the Eastern Front. Because of this, Germany shifts to the Western Front causing probelms for the French, British, and Americans. -

A major battle for The United States. They valiantly capture the town od Cantigny from their German allies. -
Chateau- Thierry
America attacks the Germans at Chateau- Theirry. The small battle will later on play a big part in the Battle of Belleau Wood.
