    The Espionage Act was supposed to add new limits to America's first Amendment the charge of the Espionage was to promote the success of the United States' enemies. The overall Act states that anyone who tries to interfere with America's war effort would face a 20 year prison sentence and a fine of $10,000.

Cher Ami (the only pigeon) saved the Americans and was awarded a medal of honor.
