Nazis take the Sudetenland
After War World 1 Czechoslovakia took the Sudetenland which was part of Germany and made it part of it and Hitler wanted the land back. Britain and France gave Hitler the Sudetenland to avoid war and joining an alliance with the Soviet Union. Since Britain and France gave up the Sudetenland so easily that made Hitler think that it would be easy to get land whenever and wherever he wanted. -

German Blitzkrieg
The Blitzkrieg was a huge, harsh, and sudden attack on Britain and France. He wanted to destroy them to make them weak so they wouldn’t retaliate again Hitler for trying to take everyone else’s land. The French soon gave in because even their allies were unprepared to help. -
Ribbentrop/Molotov pact
The pact stated that Germany and the Soviet Union would not attack each other for ten years and if they had a problem they would settle it themselves with no war. This pact was put in place because Hitler didn’t want a war with the Soviet Union, because of this pact with the Soviet Union it made Hitler think that he can take any land without having to worry about the Soviet Union attacking him. -
Germany's invasion of Poland
Germany was sure that his army was strong enough to invade Poland so they did. Hitler is starting to become even greedier about getting land. Britain and France were sort of ignoring what Hitler was doing until he invaded Poland and basically starting War World 2. -
Battle of Britain
Hitler gave orders to destroy the Royal Britain’s air force before they had the chance to destroy theirs. The British air force was sinking German battleships that carried soldiers. The Nazis would do mass bombing of everything. -
Nazis invasion of the Soviet Union
Germany invaded the Soviet Union with military force, because Hitler realized how big of a threat the Russians actually were and the land around the Soviet Union Hitler wanted he was his main goal from the beginning. The war took longer than they expected so they didn’t pack enough food, medicine and other supplies necessary to survive as the harsh winter hit fast. -
Pearl Harbor
Japanese fighter planes made a surprise attack on the US Navy in Pearl Harbor. The Japanese we hoping to break the US so we wouldn’t enter the war at all. After the Pearl Harbor bombing we declared war on Japan. -
Wannsee Conference
It was also called the final solution conference. They were going to talk about what to do with the Jews even though the plan to kill them all was already decided on they had a few obstacles to overcome. They finally decided to just put them in labor camps.
