The assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. made the Black Power Movement even stronger. Black Americans were worried of white people because they felt that they could not trust them. Black Power groups were very common in this time period. -
The One Child Policy
The one child policy was put into order to try to stop the population growth in China. It basically made it so you could only have one child. This made it so the population ratio of men to women was very uneven. -
9/11
The terrorist attacks of 9/11 are very significant in history. There were nearly 10,000 innocent people killed or injured during these attacks. It also led to lots of discrimination against Middle Eastern people because everyone thought they were all bad.
