    Maya

    The Maya was located in southern Mexico. One military achievement they had was they had a system where the priest would decide when they would have war.(This was helpful so they could higher their chances of winning)

    Gupta Empire

    The Gupta Empire was located in Northern India. One of their military achievements were using elephants in battle.
  • Period: 330 to 1453

    Byzantine Empire

    The Byzantine Empire was located in Southern Europe. One Military accomplishment they have is when Justinian ruled his military took back parts of North Africa, Italy and Spain.

    Imperial China was located in Southeastern Asia. One of Imperial china's military achievements were the invention of gunpowder.

    Muslim Empire

    The Muslim Empire was located in Arabia. One of their military accomplishments is in the second crusade the Muslims took back Edessa from the Christians.

    Japan is located in East Asia. Japan had a very skillful army that was known as samurai, one of their military achievements were being able to fight without weapons.

    The Holy Roman Empire was located in central Europe. One Military accomplishment they have is they won the first crusade.

    Ghana is located in West Africa. One of their military achievements was having a strong military their regular military had about 1000 soldiers.

    The Aztecs were located in central Mexico. One of their military achievements are they had a very strong military so when they would ask people to join their Empire they would be scared into saying yes.

    The Inca were located in Peru. One of the Incas military achievements were not going into war right away they would ask people to join their Empire and similar to the Aztecs people would be scared to say No.
