Ashoka was the emperor of the Indus River Valley at this time. He was in power during the time of the bloody Kalinga war. Seeing all this death and destruction caused him to reconsider his ways of life and converted to Buddhism and became a peaceful leader. Thus the people of Harrapa converted to Buddhism as well. -

The Terracotta Army is a massive army of life size unique soldiers made from clay. They are all different in their own way and no two are the same. There are over 8,000 found in the tomb of Shi Haungdi and they were thought to be placed in his tomb to protect him from any threat of the underworld. They were built near the end of the Qin dynasty. -

The Silk Road was created during the Han dynasty, following the invention of silk fabrics. It is a series of roads used to trade goods with other communities and civil actions across the east, making it easier to connect. Although it is called the Silk Road because of the mass trading of silk other goods were traded as well. -

Hernan Cortez Conquers Aztecs
The Aztecs were a fairly advanced society of Native American peoples living in MesoAmerica. More specifically, they lived on a small island surrounded by water they called Tenochtitlan and this was part of what led to their demise. Hernan Cortez the leader of the Spanish Conquistadors surrounded the island and trapped them in basically, making it very difficult to defend themselves or escape. They eventually were conquered and not much of their history was preserved.
