  • Hobbes Publishes Leviathan

    He published this because so that he had an understanding of human nature. Hobbes said that people are born weak and have to build up to be stronger than others around them. It had a major role by fueling the Royalist. They had a monarchy for 7 years after it was published. They had relied on finding a justification for the rights.

  • Locke publishes Two treatises on Government

    Locke is trying to prove that all men are equal to one another. He doesn't want a monarchy in the government. The book got rejected and misinterpreted. People have to struggle to get to the places that others are there due to family inheritance.

  • Montesquieu published The Spirit of the Laws

    The types of government varied depending on circumstances. There wasn't a permanent government type. The government was viewed by as the nature of the people. The people saw danger in governments. The idea that was brought was the Judicial, Legislative, and Executive branches. The governments preserved from corruption.

  • Rousseau published The Social Contract Emile

    He formed a government that the people all agreed upon. If the people did something bad then they would remain in prison to do their time. They would also be accepted to the death penalty. Mainly focused on unavoidable restraints. It also contributed in some other articles.

  • Beccaria Published on crimes and punishments

    He wanted everyone to be against violence. He tried to encourage that the citizens should not make any sort of crime. Torture is not allowed or accused. They wanted everyone to be kind to one another.
