    Obama announced he will be running for president in February. Obama wins the presidency and became president on January 20,2009. This changed the world in a good way but had few bumps in the road in the begging. People were surprised that America was getting a African American president they were used of having all white presidents.Overall I believe it is good that America has a African American president.

Adam Lanza was the shooter and shot 20 people from the ages 6 to 7 years old and 6 staff members.The shooting took the world by shock many people were scared and frightened. The family members of the ones who passed were crushed.School should be a safe place for children not a place to be scared of.

Everyone in the United States were heartbroken and surprised that something similar has happened again after 9/11. It didnt stop America from having another marathon the following year.
