Lahore Resolution
The Lahore Resolution (Urdu: قرارداد لاہور, Qarardad-e-Lahore also known as the Pakistan Resolution (Urdu: قرارداد پاکستان, Qarardad-e-Pakistan),[1] was a formal political statement adopted by the All-India Muslim League on the occasion of its three-day general session in Lahore on March 22–24, 1940, which called for the creation of 'independent states' for Muslims in north-western and eastern British India. -

The thirtieth Session ofthe All-India Muslim League was held at Delhi on 24-26 April, 1943, under the chairmanship of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. At the end of his presidential address he said that the time had come to take up the constructive programme to build up the nation so that it could march on the path of its goal of Pakistan. -
Gandhi - Jinnah Talks
Gandhi-Jinnah talks were held at Bombay to resolve thedifferences between the Congress and the An-India Muslim League on the issue of Pakistan.
