Lenin Was in office for 7 years until he got replaced by Stalin. After, Khrushchev was in office and was a part of making the USSR communist. Eventually Gorbachev took office and was the reason of the USSR fall because he started to allow more freedoms to the citizens, which doesn’t work in a communist government. -

The day declared that Hitler should Sudetanland of Czechoslovakia. Chamberlain, Daladier of France and Mussolini of Italy met in Munich to declare this. Hitler planned to expand. -

This was a naval battle in Pacific Theater of WWll. United States beats Japan navy. Happened months after Japan attack on Pearl Harbor. This battle helped the United States win the war. -

Allie’s attack Germany’s forces in Normandy in France. The allies invaded the beaches under the command of Eisenhower. The Germans had been fed false information. -

Due to Japan surrendering, this brought WWll to an end. Japan was announced to surrender on August 15th. Then weeks later, officially signed off to surrender, September 2nd 1945. -

President Truman made a promise that he would help any country from facing Communism. He asked Congress for $400 million for support for the military and economics for Turkey and Germany. He made a military alliance that’s still in effect today. -

Russia cut off all roads and railroads to Berlin.This was due to United States, French, and UK response to these counties making an alliance together. People in Western Barlin had no access to food supply, which lead to hunger. -

Over Soviet nuclear missile base in Cuba was seen a spy plane from U.S. Kennedy, president at the time, demanded missiles to be removed. U.S. agreed not to invade Cuba. -

While JF Kennedy was on his way to Dallas Texas, he was murdered. The murder was Lee Harvey Oswald and he was arrested after the trauma. People thought there were more killers involved. -
