Vasco da Gama Sea Route
Vasco da Gama was a Portuguese navigator. He sailed from Libson on July 8, 1497 with four vessals. He went through South Africa. The Porteguese traded with the muslims when they got to India and got gold, jewels, spices, and silver. de Gama reached India and showed hostality and rudeness to Zamorin, Hindu ruler. De Gama sailed all around Africa and discovereda sea route to India. THis helped the geographics because it increased population and spread the people. It increased trading. -

Even though the Colombian Food Exchange was good and it helped spread new foods to different continents it also spread diseases too. When Asia ad Africa traveling there sheep, cattle, and pigs spread diseases to the sailors that were sailing with them. The Turkts took control of the Arabs. Ottoman Turks conquered Egypt in 1517. Most of the trade throughtout the Indian Ocean was local but, until the Portuguese incursion, had been conducted by Arabs or at least by Muslims. The Portuguese who origonally wanted to get rid of them all together, found it impossible to manage without them. -

American Slave trade
Durning the slave trade many of the slaves were coming from all over Africa. They had very poor living conditions. Slaves were kept in dungeons on the coast of Western Africa after they were captured and then they would stay there until it it time for them to be sent over seas. In the slave ships they slaves wold be in dirty rooms, little to drink or eat, and they would have no room to move because they ships were so crammed. Thrity Year's War
They Thirty Years War took place in 1618. Many men died because there was no clear winner of a war. The different sides would fight until there was a clear difference on who was winning or who won. Many men died more of diseases then of getting killed in the war. Also many soldiers suffered from being hungry and not having a good place to sleep and live in. Most of the men were being wounded by musket bullets of blades from the other sides weapons. -

A Dutch ship brought the first African American slaves to British North America. In Jamestown, Virgina they wereto work on the tobacco farms. This relates to Geography because the black people came to north america spread their population and expanding the geographics. -

Napaleon sold about 828,000,000 square miles of territory to the United States. He sold it because he wasn't making money off of it any more and needed money. It gave the United States much more land. It spread through mountain ranges and down through Mexico and up to Canada. -
World War I
The Living conditions in World War I were terrible. Along with having bravery and courage it was hard to get food to eat and get water to drink. Many men caught diseases from food cause by rats and lice. Durning the war more than 200,000 men had died and theses deaths were not cause by being shoot. The soldiers we constantly dirty and the food and water were dirty as well. Also food was scares and it was hard for the soldiers to stay healthy while at war. -

World War II began on September 1, 1939 when Hitler started to attack Europe again. The Polish people were in terrible living conditions. They were killed for no reason sometimes and they were brutally beaten too.
