Sophies intrest in mathmatics began when she was 13 years old. She spent alot of her time in her fathers library studieing mthmatics. So she began to teacgh herself mathmatics. 12 years after Sopie went to collage (a collage were women could not get into) She wrote to the mathmatical Legendre about what would be her most important work in number theroy. German provided that if X,Y and Z are integers and if x^5 + y^5 = z^5 then niether x,y and z must be disvisable by 5. -
