After the Seneca Falls Women split over the Fourteenth and Fifeenth Amendment, which granted equal rights including the right to vote to Afican American men, but excluding women.But one lady name Susan B. Anthony- a leading proponent of women suffrage for women to have the right to vote. Some women were envolved in her act to get women to vote like Anthony and Elizzabeth Cady Stanton which had founded the National Women Suffrage Association. -

Carry Nation and the WCTU
Carry Nation would go into local saloons, sining, praying and urging saloonkeepers to stop selling slcohol and using her hatchet to destroy bottles of liquor. Then the WCTU stood for Women's Christian Temperance Union.Whcich had 245,000 members by 1911, the WCTU becaome the largest women's group in the nation's history. -
NAWSA Formed
The African -American women found The NAWSA. Which stands for National American Women Suffrage Association or NAWSA. Other Leaders of this include of Lucy Stone,and Julia ward Howe.They did this by merging two earlier organizatiosn together. -
Carrie Chapman Catt and New NAWSA Tactics
National American Woman Suffrage Association (NAWSA) this was organized in 18990 After 21 years of independent operations.Nawsa was initially headed past excutives of two merged groups, including Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucy Stone, and Susan B Anthony. The main strategy of the newly formed organization was to push for ratification of each state suffrage amendments to force Congress to approve a federal amendment. -
