    The first right to vote of women in history ( women's suffrage ) "accidentally " authorized in New Jersey in 1776 , but it was not a law allowing women to vote , but to the " people " so that as soon as they realized the "error" , abolished that law in 1807. in the United States not the total women's suffrage until 1965 were allowed (although since 1920 itself could exercise their right to vote only women white skin).

Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. In 1869, they created the National Woman Suffrage Association.The association was created to try and gain women the right to vote in presidential elections. Subsequently, in 1872, Susan B. Anthony was arrested for attempting to vote in the presidential election.
