    On these days in history women were organizing togetheir beyond labor unions./Had much more work then before.(unit 3, source 56). Women kept working harder and harder every day and still didnt get the rights they deserve.
  • 14TH AMENDMENT

    On this day in history the 14 amendment was formed excluding women from having any rights they proposed in the amendment. ( unit 3, Source 56). The 14 amendment only talked about freeing men slaves/ having all men created equal not women.
  • NATIONAL WOMEN SUFFRAGE ASSOCIATION

    On this day in history , 2 women (Staton and Anthony) created a the National Women Suffrage Association (nwsa) (unit 3, source 56). This directed the fight in changing the 14 and 15 amendments to inform women in it also.
  • 15TH AMENDMENT

    On this day in history the 15 amendment was passed and this amendment only granted African American MEN the right to vote. ( unit 3, source 56). Like the 14 amendment women were excluded from this amendment also because the Goverment thought women didnt do anything to gain rights.

    On these days in history the world started to have an National Experience / a surge of volenteerism among middle - class women. (unit 3 source 56) This lead to an start for women having rights/ gain the rights they deserve.
  • NATIONAL AMERICAN WOMEN SUFFRAGE ASSOCIATION

    On this day in history the National American Women Suffrage Asscociation (nawsa) was formed (unit 3 source 56). This caused a draw on the support of women activist in organizing an diverse in the women trade union league.
  • THE FIRST HEARING OF THE WOMEN SUFFRAGE ASSOCIATION

    On this day in history, their was a hearing of the Women Suffrage Association before the house of committee on judicary. By Elizabeth Cady Staton (one of our leaders of the Suffrage Movement.) (unit 3 soruce 57). This was another cause lead to make women have rights/ gain / was a big promtion in the Suffrage movement for women.
  • MOLLY ELLIOT SEAWELL PUBLISHED HER ANTI - SUFFRAGE BOOK

    On this day in history the ladies of battle book was published by Molly Elliot Seawell (unit 3 source 58). This made women decreased even more power because the anti - suffrage book persuaded the Government why women shouldn't gain any rights which actually did happen.

    On these days in history women became more educated and was very involved with activist organizations to address rights for women. (Womans rights source 1) the Government after a while finally notice that women have just as much strength and do deserve power so they got a little bit of rights now. (Example, freedom, the right to vote, etc.)
