Copernicus

The theory that Copernicus had started to deny what peoples senses told them. Anyone could see that the sun and planets moved around the earth. Anyone could feel that solid earth did not move. Kepler proved his heliocentric theory correct. He published his laws of planetary correct. His laws of planetary motion was published in 1609. He proved that his understanding was correct and this new understanding created and changed the was people saw things. -
Galileo
Galileo worked with Kepler they helped each other to confirm Copernicus's new understanding of the universe. Galileo built his own device called the telescope, and began to study the heavens. He used these observations to argue that every heavenly body revolves around earth. In 1632 his work caused a disturbance, many scholars who still believed in Ptolemy's old geocentric theory refused to accept Galileo's findings. -

Newton published a book building on the work of Copernicus,Kepler,and Galileo. He proposed the law of universal gravitation which states that all bodies attract each other in 1687. Newton also explained the laws of motion and developed the mathematical means of measuring motion. Today his laws of motion and gravitation. Newton took ideas and findings from others and further proved their findings. This all means that he had a drastic impact on the world. Newton changed the way people saw things. -
Descartes
A leader of the scientific revolution,"ideas lead to great advances in mathematics,the sciences and philosophy" They felt that no assumptions should be accepted without question. In discourse on Method, Descartes stated that all assumptions had to be proven on the basis of known facts. He thoughts all fields of scientific knowledge where connected, thus they should be studies together. Descartes contributed to the scientists revolution bu mainly being the leader of it.
