First executions of witchcraft
Five people were executed at Salem, for witchcraft. A lot of people were there to watch the executions. Mr. Cotton Mather, Mr. Sims, Hale, Noyes, Cheerver and others said they were all innocent. -
another death
At noon on this fine monday, a man by the name Giles Cory, was charged with witch craft. His sentance is different then the others because he wouldnt confess. His death sentance is stones to crush his body. -
Confession
Dorcas Hoar confessed that she was doing witchcraft. The sheriff was given the orders to hold back her execution. She was the first condemned person to confess to witchcraft. -
Plead for forgiveness
Samuel Sewall prayed that gon would forgive him for his sins of wanderings. He wanted God to direct him to the right path. He also prayed for God to save New England as to enemies. -
Reciting
Sam recites, Mattew Chapter 12 verse six through 12, to Samuel Sewall. The seventh verse riminded Samuel of the watch trials in Salm. The images didn't excape from his mind of the witch trials.
