William Shakespeare was born in Stratford upon Avon, England, in April 1564. The exact date that he was born isn't recorded but it is believed he was born April 23 because of his baptism in April 26. -

William had a home education in which his mom would tutor him. He then went to a Grammar school the school was available to all boys within the borough, free of charge. There are no records of William going to university. -
