    W.V. Quine went to Oberlin College. He graduated with his Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics. In 1931 W.V. Quine went to continue his education in Harvard University. He then went on and graduated and got his Masters of Arts in Philosophy. Finally in 1932 W.V. Quine got his Ph.D. In Philosophy it was this year that W.V. Quine formed his thesis on former logic and set theory.

    (1.) “there is some fundamental cleavage between truths which are analytical or grounded in meaning independently of matters of fact”.
    (2.) “that each meaningful statement is equivalent to some logical construct upon terms which refer to immediate experience”.
