Being Taken

Hearst and the Harrises had gone to a motel and while there they saw what happened on the TV. They fled to Pennsylvania and New York. -

Patty Hearst was finally arrested in San Francisco. When she was handcuffed she as one of the SLA members. Later, when the police asked her job description, she said "urban guerrilla". -

Patricia Campbell Hearst's trial was the trial of the century. The jury found her guilty of robbery, assault, other crimes. Sentenced to seven years in prison but only served two. President Jimmy Carter commuted her sentence. Patty was also pardoned by President Clinton. -
