Edison gives up
It is known that one of the major problems encountered with the invention of the light bulb was finding a good material to the filament who carries with the electrical power. By this year Edison gives up in his search and devote himself to his other ideas. Let's see what would have happened if this had been true. -
Tesla does not take take long
In his arrive to USA a brilliant scientist finds a country still using gas lamps. If Edison had'nt give up so soon Tesla would have been able to see New York fully illuminated. -
Building the future
Because of Tesla's determination now he is the inventor of the first commercial light bulb. Creates his own companie Tesla Electric Light & Manufacturing. If Edison hadn't invented so other things like the phonograph or the telegraph he would have been forgotten. -
Kind of late for AC
Tesla would have developed his own AC current if he had seen before the poor performance in the Edison's DC for the transmition of electrical power at great scale. But Edison didn't do that because now is too bussy with the Vitascope. -
There is no war!!
If Edison hadn't invented the light bulb, he wouldn't have had the power to impose his DC current across the world, which Tesla wouldn't have had to suffer in demonstrate that his current (AC) was better and completly safe. Wouldn't have been necessary that Edison killed elephants in public trying to prove falsely that AC was mortal, and never had been war at all. -
World's Columbian Exposition
The famous exposition was completly illuminated by Tesla´s AC light bulbs provided by the Westinghouse Electric Company. This is a real fact and it had happened whether Edison would have been able to create light bulb or not. -
Lightning fields
It is possible that if Edison hadn´t invented the light bulb and Tesla would have been able to do it, this movie scene would have been pretty usual for the farmers at the time. -
A new cover
If the TIMES magazine had used another cover, it would have occurred because Tesla would have created one of the most important inventions in human history instead Edison. -
Find me another
I'm not saying that If Thomas Alva Edison hadn't invented the light bulb, this monument located at his home town, Menlo Park, the day on what would have been his 96 birthday wouldn´t have existed, but maybe its peak would be other. -
The Wizard of Evergreen Terrace
I love this episode of The Simpsons. If the dead Edison hadn't stolen (with no intention to do it) the Homer's electrical hammer, he wouldn't have lived at Evergreen Terrace for so long and now we would be seeing the stories of a wealthy family living in Hollywood.
