What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Learnt the details of how camcorders work and how different effects could be added through the use of a camcorder; e.g. zoom to add emphasis.

Editing

I learnt the use of editing through programmes such as Serif Movie Plus. I edited my film in Serif and spent time going through all the different uses of the programme such as using the different effects that you can add on such as chroma key to remove a background or certain colour from an image or film. For example I used this on my Green Screen section to remove the background of the film.

Through the time of making my film, I decided that I wanted to make it the best possible quality. Through altering the different settings on Serif Movie Plus and other programmes such as Photoshop, I was able to get the options to put my video in either 720p or 1080p, of course 1080p was the best quality and would make my film look crisp and more professional.
