In Little Rock Arkansas, nine African Americans enrolled in a all white school. People protested, other people were violent, By federal judge orders the nine African American students entered the school. -
Greensboro Sit-Ins
The Greensboro Sit-in was a non-violent protest. Four African American collage students took a seat in a white persons seat in a reasturant, the workers refused too serve the Black men because they were black. This event in history took part in helping overcome discrimination. Opened jobs that were once closed t oo them, Groups gained formal recognition by the state government.
