Treaty of Versailles
The people of Germany at 1920s were very angry about the treaty. They were too poor to pay the respiration and was having a hard time because of the unemployments and the high price of food and goods. The German people wanted a leader who could tear up the treaty of Versailles. Then Hitler comes in and promise to the German people to rebuild Germany greatly. The relationship of isolationism and ww2
When USA entered isolationism and stayed away from Europe problems, Germany thought it will be a perfect time to attack. Since there is no strong nation to stop it, Hitler could break all of the treaty in the treaty of Versailles easily. German conscription
On August 29 of 1934, just after Hitler came into power, he started to rearm German forces. He did this secretly and well because it was forbidden by the treaty of versailles. After he got a large enough army, he opened up Conscription. This made German army to zoom at a rapid speed and made Britain and France to take action. It also made Hitler wanting or can start a war. German occupation of the Rhineland
Germany reoccupying Rhineland is a bing thing for the allies. Since there is a de-militarilized zone, France can relax, but now there buffer is gone and France will get attacked straightly. Germany invades Austria
On March 12th of 1938, German troops went in or invaded Austria unchallenged. Then shortly after at march 13th, Austria united with Germany. It was forbidden by the treaty of Versailles. Both Austrian and German was happy to join together but the other nations were not. This made Germany more powerful and resourceful for the second world war. Source:

The policy of appeasement.
At 1930s, British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain used appeasement or giving what the other nations appointed specifically Germany and wanted to stop any conflict from happening. German occupation of Czechoslovakia
At September of 1938, Hitler demanded studland from Czechoslovakia to protect the German speaking people in there. Nations agreed and gave studland to Germany by a appeasement called The Munich agreement. The Munich agreement says that if Germany doesn't take over the rest of Czechoslovakia, they can have studland. But Hitler broke his promise and invaded the rest of Czechoslovakia at 1939. GERMAN-SOVIET NONAGGRESSION PACT
At August 23, shortly before the second world war`s outburst, Germany and Soviet Union surprised the world by signing a 10 year peace pact. This insured Germany to attack Poland without unopposed and made Soviet Union to have more time to prepare for the war. There was also a secret agreement Hitler and Stalin promised. Germany invades Poland.
At the morning of September 1st 1939, 1.5 million German soldiers invaded Poland while U-boats attacked the navy and the Air Force bombed the airfields. Hitler thought this will be a quick battle and no one was going to act between. He was right about finishing the battle quick but Britain and France declared war on Germany on 2 days later.
