  • Japanese invasion of China

    What happened: Japan wanted Global expansion and started pushing into China Why it happened: Years of border clashes with the Chinese The effects/impact of the event: This Moved Caused the United States to have to get involved with the war
  • Germany's invasion of Poland

    What happened: Hitler took over Poland Marched into Poland land and air Why it happened: Because Hitler wanted to gain Back the land that they lost The effects/impact of the event: This made and France join the war because they were allies with Poland
  • Pearl Harbor

    What happened: The Japanese decided the bomb a military base of pearl harbor Why it happened: Because the United States wanted to stop Japan's Global Expansion The effects/impact of the event: Because of the Japanese trying to surprise attack the United States and Failing it ultimately caused them to get bombed in return.
  • D-Day

    What happened: Allied forces launched a combined an attack on the Nazi-Occupied France. Why it happened: German soldiers Invaded France. And allied forces with France came to Help. The effects/impact of the event: Germans started pushing back into Germany, one of the main causes why the Germans lost the war
  • Dropping of the atomic bombs

    What happened: The United States dropped 2 atomic bombs one in Nagasaki and the other in Hiroshima. Why it happened: Japan was not ready to surrender unconditionally and there was a concern that a weapons demonstration would have not done the job. The effects/impact of the event: At least 70,000 people were killed in the initial blast, 70,000 more died from radiation exposure.
