The creation of bronze allowed civilizations to grow by being able to have an effective military. It was not only used for protection but also for art. The tools shown in the photo are just small examples of the things people were able to create to help themselves more. -

2550 BCE
Pyramids
The Pyramids were made as a tomb to hold the dead king and his belongings has they transitioned to the underworld. Now the pyramids were only able to be built because Egypt had a strong enough agriculture to withstand the calories needed. -
2500 BCE
Priests and Warriors
Priests and warriors quickly became important to the Mesopotamian people because they now had large cities to control. Mesopotamia was the first to allow priests to be in control over the people, they were able to talk to the gods and soothe them. Kings soon quickly took power from priests for fear of them growing stronger than the king. -
2500 BCE
Mesopotamia
Bronze was able to help Mesopotamia create water storage and irrigation but also glass-making and textile weaving. Mesopotamia was in between two large bodies of water making it important for them to learn how to control the excess water they have. -

New Kingdom
Egypt's last and strongest dynasty. Many great leaders came during this time, Hatsheput, Amenhotep, and Ramses. Created monumental architecture for example statues and temples. -
1473 BCE
Hatshepsut
Hatsheput was one of the first female pharaohs that was able to lead for around forty years. She had unprecedented power over her country and her people. Sadly most of her memory was erased by a family member who took the throne after her. -
725 BCE
Odyssey
The Odyssey is not only one of the longest books to with stand history, but has been incorporated into all different types. Many different writings were created at this time. It was a collection of works that anyone could connect to. -

Iron is found to be stronger than bronze. A large industrial iron production started because everyone wanted to get a hold of it. Only wealthy could.Not only could it be used in the military but could also be used around the house.
