W.V. Quine is known for his contributions to theoretical philosophy and logic. Thomas Kuhn

Thomas Kuhn is widely know for his many books starting "The Copernican Revolution" Published in 1957. Noam Chomsky

Bas van Fraassen

Bas van Fraassen was known for his work with constructed empiricism outlined in his book "The Scientific Image" in 1980.
