  • The idea of Natual Selection

Natural selection is the process by which a living organism adapts and changes according to the environment in order to survive. Around a population of the same being, each individual has different traits that could give it some advantage, which means: more chances of surviving and reproducing. Over time, the individuals with the best chances of survival, would thrive and pass along their traits to its offsprings through generations.
Darwin's idea was a major scientific revolution.
