  • Moritz Schlick (Apr 14, 1882 - June 22, 1936)

    Moritz Schlick authored an essay on "The Philosophical Significance of the Principle of Relativity". This was important in Schlick's development which created philosophical tenets that would be used later in his works.

    In 1917, Moritz Schlick published Space and time in Contemporary Physics. The content of the work was recognized by Einstein himself and referenced material from his paper on General Theory.

    Moritz Schlick largely composed General Theory of Knowledge in 1916 however it was first published in 1918. General Theory of Knowledge argues that knowledge is fundamentally a matter of logical coherence and that emirical evidence plays a secondary role in confirming or refuting beliefs.
