    The famous Rococo form of painting originated in the early 18th century in Paris. Rococo paintings are characterized by soft-colored curvy lines that depict scenes of nature, light-hearted entertainment, love, amorous encounters, and many more. Jean Antonie Watteau is termed the father of Rococo painting. He invented a new genre that had colorful scenes of courtship parties.
